IRIS considers Uzbekistan’s potentials for Companies

As a part of its mission, IRIS has taken measures to establish cooperation between technology companies in Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) and other Iranian STPs and the technopark in Uzbekistan. It also intends to prepare the ground for the development of Technology Incubators and Science Park there and to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Having had these objectives, IRIS organized a hybrid event on December, 12th with the presence of Science Park representatives from Uzbekistan - both virtually and in-person- and ISTT’s tenant companies in Sheikh Bahai Conference Hall.
After a comprehensive presentation about potential and actual needs of Uzbekistan, Different ways of collaborations were discussed. Company registration rules, tax laws and residency laws in Uzbekistan were among the issues raised at this event.
Prior to the event, an ISTT’s company was sent on a mission to Uzbekistan to consider potentials of investment and to conduct a market analysis for knowledge-based products there.
